No, I don't believe he knew in advance what Pacquiao's reaction would be, although it's worth bearing in mind that info was already out there regarding Pacquiao and blood testing, since apparently Pacquiao was bothered by it during his preparation for the first Morales fight. On top of that, Alex Ariza mentioned (before Floyd ever mentioned random blood testing) about Pacquiao never having any immunization jabs because he doesn't believe in them. In the same interview, he said Manny won't even take aspirin for pain releif. I guess from these small clues you it's possible to come up with a way to throw a spanner in Pacquiao's works.

Personally, I think it's more down to mind games than anythng else. Both fighters have big ego's, and neither wants to bend to the others' rules. That's mainly what it comes down to.

I tend to side with this view. I think Floyd was bluffing, and playing mind games to some extent and was surprised at Pac's reaction. I've detailed that before.

And no I don't count you as a ******* or whatever, because I don't hear words like "coward" "*****" or derogatory terms about black fighters from you. So even though we have our differences, this wasn't really directed at you.

My only logic is that this group of Pac fans on this page tend to be very very sensitive. I'm not trying to derail the issue further.

Would rather just keep driving the logic point home.

And that being said, despite most of his dumb **** fans: Pac is and will always be great for what he has done in his career so far.

Well I know that, believe me.
I have seen these sensitive posters defend Manny as if they slept with him and know all his inner secrets.
They are very illogical and most base their arguments on where their from and not on what makes sense.

Ironic since a lot of them throw out some pretty lame race baiting garbage.

But again, I figured since the gutless wonders didn't have any real retort to my question, why give them further ammo to derail the point?

I think this thread has proven that they are mostly full of ****.

The only logical explanation is that Floyd knows Manny is juicing so he asked for random testing to get out of the fight because he knows that Manny doesn't want to be exposed.

I don't think that's the only logical explanation.

But again, it's not about Floyd or Pac. It's about ******* "logic"

                      wow.

p.s. I'm sure after this post, I can kiss my green k goodbye.
when i read the actual thread post, and saw dude has red k, i said the same thing. at this point, i don't even worry about the karma system on this site....it's a joke.

i'll give you that, if it's your belief. but i'm in consensus with the TS....the blood testing was in the contract from the jump, and had it been an "11th hour" clause drummed up, i'd be more inclined to entertain the thought of floyd using it as a cop-out.

in the real world though, there were just too many other points floyd could've been a **** about, if he didn't want the fight. before negotiations even took off, ppl were saying, including arum, the fight was gonna be tough to make b/c floyd would demand more money.

the way i see everything, is that the drug testing were mind games by the mayweather camp, however, manny's camp made it a dealbreaker b/c march was actually too soon for them.
