There isn't a clear #1 guy at WW. I say Pac has the best case though. Even after Shane vs Mosley....we still wont have the clear answer until Pac faces the winner.

i call it how it is, pac is #! right now simply because he fought two real welters. mosely, even though it may not be his fault, has been on hiatus for over a year. therefore pac is #1 up until the winner of that may fight. that person will most definitely take the top spot in the division

it's both they're fault IMO...he could had taking the test and gone through the fight prefectly fine. then again idk his body like that (eww) and floyd needs to stop acting like he not part of the blame either he know why he gave pac the test so it could be a excuse to not fight him

There was never a clear cut "man"at WW. Even the ring magazine said this, because of Shane losing to Cotto. Shane is a GBP fighter...so don't you think it would be advantageous for him to label him that if he truly was the top WW? They didn't so that further goes to show that Shane was never the #1 guy at that division.

Bottom line....this is only a ploy to make him and May fight bigger. I don't knock em for it....but it is what it is.

According to Ring Manny is at this time the #1WW...but there is no Ring Champion at this moment!.

Mosley beat Margarito in January of 2009...He hasnt done NOTHING at all since then. You just don't get to stay #1 if you don't fight!!!

Manny has beat Cotto and Clottey at WW in the time Mosley has laid off. Not to mention Hatton (at 140 i know is not WW) but hes fought three times in the time Mosley has been inactive.

Mayweather has fought JMM (lol) a blown up LW after beating Hatton A blown up LWW in 07!!!

I can respect that. I'm a huge Pac fan but when I posted my reply the key word was "clear". I say he is but when he beats the May vs Mosley winner...we will know he is without a shadow of a doubt. No guy can make that claim, so that is why I say its debatable (as opposed to being disputable).

should of would of and could of's....so what! This is a business and in any business there should always be a back up plan. There was none. So they had to wait on Mayweather. For the money it was worth the wait. But it don't come with out a cost. Dropped in the ratings!
