Aiite guys, i knoe there's a lot of belly aching on Clottey's poor performance on Saturday. Paco did the right thing, he threw 1,231 punches, regardless of Clottey's inactivity. Pacquiao is marked up however; but that was all Clottey's fault.
I'm pretty sure there's been alot of talk about the decline of boxing, especially from what happened on Saturday. But it's up to us, the boxers, the fans...anyone who's involved in the boxing fraternity, to keep it going.
Just keep talking about boxing. Keep watching boxing, keep training...hopefully we'll be able to bring boxing back to it's Golden Age again.
Personally, im following the boxers who's trying to make it. The fighters still scrambling for a check, the ones who can't catch a break. Clottey represented all us fighters who just need one opportunity, and he flopped it.
So stay active in boxing, whatever aspect you're in.
One other thing: It's quite apparent and obvious that Paco is not on steroids. He threw 1,231 punches and didn't even dent Clottey. Plus, Paco got the worst of the punches. What's Floyd's excuse now, for not fighting Pacquiao? Everyone knows that was supposed to be the stage for Mayweather and Paco. Maybe Floyd really is scared or concerned?
