brilliant news, this will do a lot for Khan's career (win or lose)
agreed, I have great childhood memories of Eubank/Benn/Watson fights that today's kids were denied with Hatton/Haye/Calzaghe. Imagine how big Hatton would've been if his fights were shown terresteriallyLast edited by Weebler I; 03-15-2010, 02:26 PM.Comment

I agree that boxing belongs on terrestial tv. But boxing shows cost a lot more to put on these days, and tv companies don't get anywhere near the advertising money or viewing figures like they did in the 80's and 90's.brilliant news, this will do a lot for Khan's career (win or lose)

The sad fact is, the only way many good fights can be put together is through ppv.Comment

To be honest it would be an excellent choice by Khan.
This is a guy who only sells 100k PPV's at British prime time so how the hell is he going to sell any at 2am in Britain when hes fighting in the States?
He will get millions on ITV even at that time and will get him a bigger fan base like it did for Joe Calzaghe after he whooped Jeff Lacy.Comment
