I was impressed to a small degree. This was a glorified sparring/workout session. So with that being said, I was impressed with his stamina. I for one think he is on something (not being argumentative, just my opinion) and this fight just further my su****ions. During the fight they showed a very telling graphic. With each weight class his output has increased. I'm no doctor or specialist, but I've been watching sports my entire life. The only time ****es in activity or productivity during my lifetime came in the form of Bonds, McGwire, Sosa, Clemens, Lance Armstrong....you get the picture. This is beyond what a great boxer can do physically, it's starting to become more about what a human in general can do physically. And I think Manny and his team are doing the fans a great injustice by not adhereing to more stringent testing, regardless if it initiated as a power play by Floyd. When you make history in this day and age, there is more responsibility placed on the athlete to erase any doubt. When Usain Bold shattered the World record, he had to subject himself to more tests than any runner in history. Even when he runs in "paid" events, he has to adhere to stringent testing (so it's not just an Olympic amatuer thing). Until Manny truly answers the call of greatness by erasing any doubt about his abilities, I'll still have my su****ions. And I'll still watch him perform too....
You obviously haven't been reading this tread.......apparently where there is a will there is a way...hahahha......
it's not that people are not givin him credit its that besides the win there was nothing impressive about what manny did if anything manny was the 1 who got beat up out of the 2 fighters
The fight was one sided.
Since when you judge a fight cuz of scracths.
Especially comparing a black dark skeaned dude with a clear skinned person.
How many rounds do you think Josh won???
One at best.....if you read back and find out why I posted that though it would make more sense....see when you speak out of turn you kinda look like a tard....
the kat I was responding to likened the fight to a videogame where one person was controlling Pac and the other "player" was not moving....that is a quite a bit extreme is all I was trying to point out....
that being said the fight was infact a near shoutout for Pac I agree with that...but read up before you put your spoon in the koolaid without even knowing what flavor it is playa!!
how could u not a give a person credit for winning?the arguments start when pac fans make it seem like pacquiao can beat anyone every time he wins but every time he fights i still see the flaws that he had when he fought erik and marquez so outside of the cotto fight manny has not really impressed me much and remember as soon as the fight with manny and clottey was made everyones first reaction was that manny was gonna win off of workrate because clottey doesn't do much and thats exactly how it played out
Well ask Josh who is the easier hittable fighter between Judah,Cotto and Manny?
Yall act like Manny is Gatti,of course he took some punches. It's boxing.
Even Floyd get hit, especially against southpaws.
Those who thinks Manny has no crack against Floyd are underrating his habilities and freaky athleticism.
He has some head movement, and his offense is like a defense.
Of course against a counter puncher he will have more problems, but,he beat Cotto and Clottey so easy, dominated them from the beginning to the end,and those guys never was walk in the park for nobody but Manny.
