Floyd always fights aggressively vs southpaws

Versus Corley he attacked from the start, against Mitchel and Judah too. He always seems to want to impose himself when he fights southpaws. This is one of the reasons I don't like his chances vs Pacquiao.

I think contrary to popular belief, this fight will be very good but I don't think Floyd can go lick for lick with the PacMan. Also you should remember the last time he fought a southpaw was 4 years ago.

    Last 3 fights vs Southpaws

    vs Corley

    vs Mitchell

    vs Judah

That's because fighting backwards against them is usually a bad move.

Floyd doesnt go to war with any fighter. He walks southpaws down with jabs and lead rights. The punches that Clottey didnt miss Pac with. Floyd is also a counter puncher. Clottey is not.

Floyd throws jabs to the body and head and attacks the body alot vs. Lefties.

Floyd and Clottey are on different planets in talent. Lets be real here.

The last time Pac fought a counter puncher most of the boxing world thought he lost and that was JMM. And Floyd is better then him on every level.

JMM and Mayweather are two different fighters and who's to say they are that much appart on skill anyway? Sure Mayweather beat Marquez's ass at 147 but what about at 130?

Besides that point, Pacquiao is a different fighter now than he was when he fought Marquez.

At 130 Mayweather is arguably the most skilled and greatest Super Featherweight ever. Hed stop JMM in about 6 rounds.

However different he may be is fine and dandy. He still hasnt fought a guy a right handed counter puncher since JMM.

Floyd will make himself a VERY hard target to land on vs. Pac. Clottey just stood in one spot.

If he couldn't stop Marquez with a sizeable weight advantage I don't think he would if they were to weigh the same.

Clottey is a good right handed counter puncher and tagged Pac clean a bit but he was just overwhelmed against Pac's punch output.

Clottey fought Zab Judah very similiar to the way Floyd Mayweather fought him and I'm sure he planned on doing the same thing to Pac but Pac is just an unbelieveable fighter far, far above Judah and any southpaw out there.

this post proves you're trolling. Seriously? Floyd beat JMM with speed. So what at 130, was Floyd slower or something?

I agree unless you are JMM, do not fight going backwards against southpaws.

Floyd was on a 21 month layoff and he needed those rounds. Did you watch Floyd at 130? He had power in both hands man.

Clottey is not good, or a counter puncher.

One's for sure, those vids show that PBF definantly got no shaky chin and even got some slugger-qualities.
