Props to you no ceilings/burner! And congratulations again on your upcoming baby!

even if clottey acted like 1 punching bag that occasionally hits back, name any other fighter that can do it continuously for 12 rounds nonstop. That's what is noticeable with this fight. The 8 punch combinations, the non stop punching, the lateral movements, head, down to the body, back to the head. He even had the time to be humorous with that double punch in round 4. Even with Clottey trying to step on Pacquiao's foot the whole night, Pacquiao was still able to move and fire off his combinations.

and to the others, dont start with any peds or roids.

Yeah I agree. It was time for me to face facts. Pac is an animal. He threw every punch in the book against Clottey with speed and power. If those shots landed on Clotteys face he wouldve got stopped.

Even if Pacquiao's right eye was kinda swollen, he took his lickings and kept on ticking. Clottey's face is basically unmarked. Its hard to redden a dark skin. But watched the fight on ppv, and he was not only being treated for a bloodied nose, but he was gargling water that turned red when he spit it out. And people say they wouldnt be surprised if he pissed some blood after the fight with all that side body shots he took.

I dont believe he didnt get hurt or didnt feel Pacquiao's power. He looked like he wobbled in one particular early round.

For Pac to have accomplished something like this...

Not bad for a guy who started without food and proper training, and who prays everytime not for victory, but for the safety of his opponent and himself, who promises not victory but to deliver what the fans love, and won't eat at any other restaurant because his conscience tells him not to mess with a man's means of living.

            Not bad at all.

Yeah he felt those shots. Even they land on arms that still hurts. That was something he didn't want to take in the face over and over. I thought he got hurt once with a body shot I cant remember the round though.

I couldnt imagine the dela hoya fight if he did that to Clottey where in Pac insisted not to get hit.. Pac is just a great entertainer.. props to him.
a couple of boxing writers/analysts/commentators have commented that since clottey rarely threw punches pacquiao's timing on his defense was off.

                      i can agree with that.

hard to time someone when they hardly threw.

plus it's not like clottey landed a high percentage of his punches either.

                      he landed what 25%?

punching leads to openings for your opponent. pacquiao threw almost 1300 punches leaving himself open a lot of times. 25% is very good.

a lot of good defensive fighters have been hit with a lot better accuracy by lesser opponents.

......and they were on defensive mode and not offensive mode.
