    According to reports in Mexico, Humberto Soto will defend his WBC lightweight title against undefeated mandatory Anthony Peterson on the Miguel Cotto vs. Yuri Foreman undercard on June 5 at Yankee Stadium in New York. Soto won the vacant title last Saturday at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. He won a unanimous twelve round decision over former champion David Diaz.

    Soto must be a real easy guy to negotiate with, I mean he just won a title less than 36 hours ago and he has a fight set up already.

    That is the kind of stuff I like to read about from fighters especially champions.

              Soto is a monster, he's the epitome of a blue collar fighter, always active and trying to squeeze as much as he can out of his career, always ready to fight. Too bad he's always been given subpar opposition for the majority of his career, how can anyone not love this guy? I got Soto by KO.

                What title? David Diaz? lol, that **** barely even counts. They probably already had it set up so if he wins then he faces Peterson next but winning a title from Diaz dont give you much leverage in ****

                    In my opinion, soto should fight at 130lbs, he did outbox diaz but diaz was awful
