No way will it be easy, if nothing else mayweather knows that manny can shake him up with a single shot for the full 12 rounds of the fight so the concentration has to be there all the time, and even when he is getting out-boxed pacquiao doesn't get demoralised or discouraged as he proved against marquez and morales. Pacquiao looks better every time he fights and to be honest in the last couple of years he also looks different every time he fights.

People who come to this conclusion from the weekend are underestimating clottey and don't really understand different boxing styles. Pac-mayweather is a completely different fight, and anyway clottey has a great right hand (lead), and a very good jab. He hits everyone with them but in my opinion had a lot less success against pacquiao, then cotto, judah etc. So pac can't be that bad defensively. I would expect he would think a lot more about defense and use more head movement against mayweather anway.

And what EXCUSES are you talking about? The last I checked,Manny was making a million excuses not to fulfill Floyd's single request,Even though Floyd granted Manny's EVERY request. His excuses changed so frequently, that his team even got confused.
The last I checked,Manny is now finally calling out Mosely and Floyd after Manny's team had turned down Mosely because Freddie admitted that Shane is too good, then they knocked back a fight with Floyd because of some drug tests that would destroy any rumours and would convince the public of his honesty easier and quicker than the lawsuit he has filed (if the lawsuit is even real...his lawyer doesn't specialize in libel/defamation and when was the last time you heard about the court case???)...

Honestly-aside from developing his right hand, there is not much that has changed with Manny's fight plan.He does the same thing with all of his opponents.Rushes, bounces, flurry, bounces out or to the side.He does not change what got him to where he is.
These dramatic changes you guys speak about are nil..you would swear that all the talk of "change" he would have completely changed styles. They have honed in on his offense and neglected his defense. He still fights out of a pattern and rhythm and can not be taught to adapt or show versatility. He will always look like a million bucks against the guys he has fought-you will see a difference when/if he fights someone who is a good boxer who doesn't stray from a gameplan...
