I think Floyd punches harder because he's been able to hurt/drop opponents. Clottey is physically stronger, but he hasn't hurt any opponents.

Baracuda, you need to watch round 10 of Mayweather-Judah again. Mayweather was going for the kill and was about to get it before the lowblow. Anyone who thinks Judah wouldn't have been stopped, or at least dropped if he hadn't thrown that lowblow really needs to watch again. Mayweather had him hurt and ready to quit.

And you're contradicting yourself. Your saying its okay for Clottey to bring a shot Chico up two weight classes and actually have problems in the fight but its not okay for Mayweather to bring JMM up? And to answer your question, Clottey probably would have fought JMM if the opportunity was given to him. It would be a huge paycheck compared to his other fights, aside from the Pacquiao fight.

the corales fight was a decade ago and it was at the LW division floyd is now at the WW division and he didn't ko anyone at 147lbs for almost 5years except for hatton who went up from 140 to 147lbs just to accommodate floyd. Floyd punching power at 147lbs is an average at best but he's a strong puncher at a LW division.

I kinda echo most informed sentiments... Clottey is stronger, and might have more raw power, but Floyd has more speed, and his best punch is a lot more likely to hurt you than Clottey's best punch.
