Lol! When a Pac fan says "Pac dominated Clottey, he'll dominate Floyd because they're both defensive". Floyd fans laugh and say, "they have completely different styles".

But all of a sudden: "Pac landed only 20% of his punches against Clottey, how is he gonna hit Floyd" - Huh?

I think the 20% is misleading. I feel sorry for Clotteys gloves that must have taken an extra 40% of the punches, taking it to 60%.

Floyd will duck many of Pacs punches, but whether Floyd would have a high punch output against Pac is highly debateable.

lol, 20% against a guy that I don't think ever let 1 shot practically slip in that could do serious damage. This put him in a position where he couldn't throw much in return but that's the trade off. Either get KO'd by Pac by opening up, or stay shelled in for 12 rounds to say he survived with Manny. Floyd on the other hand WILL open up or he's going to feel the fight slipping. When he opens up, Manny will get punches in on him. I think he's going to have such an easier time with May than Clottey.

This is what people aren't understanding. Pacquiao did what he needed to do to beat JOSH CLOTTEY. That, in no way, means that he'll fight Mayweather the same way.

He's not going to throw 1200 punches against Mayweather, and Mayweather's not going to stand there and allow him to.

That said, I think Mayweather will beat Pacquiao. And I think he'll do it easier than most people think.

It was still 257 punches landed cleanely. Now, I am favoring Floyd in this fight, but pac will make it a challenge.

Against Mayweather Pacquiao's punch out put will diminish anyway. What people forget is that Pacquiao in a way had to continously pummel Clottey, if he stopped for a moment he'd come out of his shell and fight back.

Mayweather's defence is more open meaning he can get his counters of faster, he's also a fighter that moves around, so punching away won't work.

This isn't me saying Mayweather would win, this is me stating some facts. I'm pretty sure the punch output against Marquez and Cotto were less than this fight because he had to be more careful with his shots.
