Pacquiao would lose to Mayweather because of counter punching.

The problem is he won't be throwing 100 punches per round when he's being counter punched. JMM has already proved this.I think some posters here who are convinced that Floyd would beat Manny would also look at not just the Clottey fight but also Pac took a fight less than 4 months to his previous fight and still Pac showed like he was the one who was challenging the champion.
Pac showed that he can make a defender go into hiding because he instills fear in them. Floyd is slick and a good counter puncher but never has he faced a fighter who will be right in his face everytime and throws 100+ punches per round. Pac is a risk taker he's willing to lay down his defense in some parts of the fight just so he could force a defensive fighter to open up and then Pac's gonna throw his artillery barrage of punches.
Though I think Roach will have a different fight plan against Floyd. Floyd needs to win first against Shane.Comment

Why do people just assume Manny will lose because he can be susceptible to counter punches, do you just completely forget how good Mannys offensive is altogether?
The reason JMM was so successful in countering Manny is because he was willing to stand there and trade with him, Floyd won't be.
I am not saying Floyd will lose and tbh I am not backing either but Floyd is going to try and shoulder roll a lot of Mannys shots and but I pretty sure Manny will connect with some, it depends how well Floyd reactions.Comment

lets just ignore the facts that Pac since that fight has developed a great right hand attack, has better balance, is much more fluid in his combinations, is at a more comfortable weight which makes him stronger, and his footwork being world class now. floyd could may very well beat Pac but Pac is a much different BETTER fighter than he has ever been. If you base Floyd beating Pac based on the Marquez fight then you are using a losing argument.Comment
