Alot of pac fans dont know $#!T about boxing

not talking about posters on this forum, im talking about at the fight last night. I was surrounded by alot of idiots all cheering for pac but didnt know a damn thing about boxing. Kinda made me ashamed to be a pac fan. my girlfriend kept schooling these idiots in front of us that were trying to act like they knew what they were talking about.

Take note of those that go around talking about Mayweathers father, money spending habits, fighting style, everything they can find to talk ****. The other side of the spectrum we have people who talk about his shady ways behind the facade Pacquiao puts up.

its cause he is really big right now, if you aren't a hardcore boxing fan and just a casual fan the odds are your favorite fighter is probably pacquiao or mayweather, they both have a lot of fans who don't know the sport that well. for instance i have a couple buddies that are pac fans and there boxing knowledge is ridiculous, they know nothing. i have a cousin who loves mayweather and same thing, he wouldn't be able to tell me 10 active fighters. I am sure they both have a lot of fans that are hardcore boxing fans and know a lot as well. But they both are big enough stars where non boxing fans may like one of them, because they saw a previous fight or have read about them. Plus at the dallas fight, i bet there were a lot of people just going because it was a big boxing event at dallas stadium with a superstar fighting, so they cheer for the superstar and pretend to be a fan.

seriously out of 15 people around us like 2 or 3 knew that clottey was blocking alot of pacs punches, while the rest of the people were all chanting and saying pac is gonna KO him like he did against that white guy.

I know what he means. I watched the fight with a couple guys last night that only watch pac or mayweather fights, and their knowledge is astonishing. One guy kept saying how clottey has fought at 170 which he of course hasn't. He probably heard that he has come into the ring at 170 but he was telling everyone that he has had fights at 170. ****** **** like that.

for the first 3 rounds, when clottey was blocking alot of the punches, the people around me were yelling ****** stuff out.

One guy in front of us said that one mexican got caught last year trying to use concrete in his glove against clottey and my girlfriend corrected him. It just got worse as the fight went on.

only good thing is i bet w/ 8 of them that pac wouldnt ko/tko clottey and i got $20 a piece.
