No... Floyd vs Clottey would sell 300 Tickets.

People will leave the stadium after round 1 and throw bottles at Floyd.

If you saw that fight, literally no one was cheering while whitaker dominated chavez in the latter part of the fight. of the 45000 there, i dont think there was a single whitaker fan. Keep in mind, this was san antonio texas.

Of course damn near everybody was pro Chavez. But, people still knew who Whitaker was. They just didn't like his style. He wasn't a draw because of his style. But, everybody knew how good Whitaker was.

I don't think you can compare the importance of that fight to this one. Even though everybody was pro Chavez and hated Whitaker style. It was known that it would be a tough fight. It was a respected and anticipated type of fight. Pac-Clottey was not anticipated matter of fact it was a let down type of fight from the propose Floyd-Pac figth.

And, I might be wrong but I don't think at the time there was a fight that over the Whitaker-Chavez fight like Floyd-Shane announcement overshadowed this fight.

51,000 for this event IMO was an amazing outcome.

You have to factor in that stadium. That was a HUGE draw in itself to be fair.

                YEAH but CHAVEZ is MEXICAN

The Mexican-born population in the U.S., which had been growing earlier in the decade, was 11.5 million in early 2009. That figure is not significantly different from the 11.6 million Mexican immigrants in 2008 or the 11.2 million in 2007.

Filipino Americans is roughly 1.5 million both u.s born and immigrants

                so do the MATH

There are more Mexicans Americans than African Americans now.

That was the only draw it had it though. The was the whole promotion the stadium and Pac. Bob Arum said is Pacquiao and Cowboys stadium buy the fight... He didn't promote this fight. Imagine if he did. That **** could of really jumped off...

And, that is why I don't think Floyd-Pac will happen anymore if Floyd refuses to fight in Cowboys stadium. Because, with that fight and promoted right that **** brings over 100k. The atmosphere would be crazy. **** it was live last night. I never really been in something like that before.

If Vegas had a venue that seated that many people it would sell out faster.
