It was really about half that number actually sold. Jerry Jones filled half the seats with his people and giveaways. He's promoting his stadium, so he's willing to take a L.

No event in history has had EVERY TICKET paid for.

Now considering the attendance figures at big fights over the last 5 years, in my opinion doing ANY number over 20,000 paid asses in Dallas is a HUGE success, especially when a good number of people who did not think it was going to be a competitive fight to begin with.
