On a different note, Homberto Soto is worse than I thought.

Soto is nowhere near the fighter he was. He's not the same at 135 and has slowed quite a bit. Such a shame that he couldn't get the big fights in his prime.

Top Rank is a garbage promoter.

Soto is Lueveno of a higher division. As soon as he starts fighting a guy with real talent he will get his ass beat down. Peterson will beat him in a few months.

soto should go back down to 130 but i doubt he will be.Soto started well but began to sit back and admire his work too much in the middle roundshe seemed to be getting tired near the end but put on a very good 12 round throwing good combos.i think he is fighting peterson next so he needs to up his conditioning and come in more focused.

But still badass enough to drop Diaz 2x and school him most of the fight.

I think his stamina needs improvement.
Hell yeah! I like how Soto just all of sudden gets into this hyper mode and starts throwing nice quick punches. He is mobile too: he reminds of Morales in the sense that Morales was good at moving in, out, and around a fighter when throwing his punches. He is a pretty smart fighter too; it's cool to see a fighter who can react to punches and situations kind of like Mayweather where it seems like he sees everything in slow motion or knows what is going to happen before it happens. I think Soto needs more conditioning and also needs more confidence in his abilities. Just like JC Chavez said in the Spanish broadcast: if he just decides to go forward he could knockout Diaz whenever he wants.
