Every fighter and trainer in the sport note that missed punches even blocked punches take more out of fighters than landing. According to compubox Pac only landed 17-18% of his punches, something like that....he should of been gassed.

Sure there are some fighters known for high volume output, P. Will, Kassim Ouma, Margarito, etc...but those punches aren't what anyone would call powershots. Manny's punches seemed to maintain the same snap and zing all night, all humans must suffer fatigue at some point, I dont even think Manny was breathing hard.

Some say he looked tired after 6 but I disagree, he just looked frustrated cause he wasn't landing. The guy averaged 100+ punches per round, at some point shouldn't he had punched himself out?
Looks Like!!!!! I hope you get the Axe!

yep, forget intelligent thinking or observation, if someone you don't like is performing better than anyone else... he's definitely cheating... lmao.

no, blocked punches do not take out more out of a fighter. missed punches do.
pac threw punches and almost always hit something.

It wasn't like Clottey was ducking them and making him miss.. that takes more energy out of you. He was hitting gloves, elbows, face, body.. always landing on something.

Paul Williams, Calzaghe and a hell of a lot of smaller guys throw lots of punches.

When you have someone sitting infront of you, you get that chance.

To reach that amount, you need someone who doesn't get KO'd.

You do realise he hit something... Gloves?

Hitting gloves doesn't take anything out of you or is much different to the body or head you know

well margarito threw nearly 1700 punches against against clottey and most were powershots so it can be done especially against a fighter like clottey.
