Good point. Clottey's hand was never hurt in that fight he just bottled it like he did in this fight against Pac.

I been said that no matter what happened to Clottey's hands, he would have lost to Margarito. He simply could not deal with that type of punch output for 12 rounds. That fight was much closer than the Gatling gun against brick wall last night though.

yes i do. it wanst just an excuse he made up after the fight. he mentioned it to his corner in b/t rounds during the fight. he was not the same fighter after hurting his hands.

Yes, I remember that fight clearly. Clottey was actually more aggresive than he normally is at the start of that fight, perhaps because Marg isnt exactly a counterpunching wizard, he gets by on volume. Clottey was landing at will and rocking Marg, when he stopped throwing it was suddenly. Clottey versus Paq was different, Clottey gradually became less active as Paq started to time him and land more. Just because he wasnt in danger of getting knocked out doesnt mean Clottey wasnt feeling some pain.

There was no broken against Margarito. He probably hurt his hand but it was not broken.
