Odd experience with Pac fan yesterday....

It was kind of odd because it through me off a bit. I was at the rec center where they were telivising the Pac vs Josh fight last night for free. I go in with two other friends and we sat next to a couple of Thai guys who were very much big Pac fans. They over heard one of my friends mention the whole PED situation and they came to Pac's defense. We debated with them through just about the whole boring ass undercards.

They held their ground pretty well, then the fight came on. We were quiet pretty much through out the whole fight, the Thai guys kind of looked in awe as they watched the fight and were not cheering much......all of a sudden one of the Thai guys turned to me and with the most sincere faces he says to me, "you know what?, I am starting to really think that Manny Pacquiao is on something", his friend looked over at him and kind of nodded yes...he said "this is just unbelievable".

    Kind of through me off.

Odd fight to make that claim. Pac's body wasn't as ripped as he used to be and did not look he hurt Clottey much.

I dont think his opinion was based on Manny's looks. It was the fact that he was blowing away a fighter that has never been blown away.
As for the muscle thing....Sprinters are not all that ripped when they are busted doing those ridiculous 100 meter dash records.

Did you mention to the thai guys that styles makes fights. Have they even seen Clottey fight more than 3 times? Marg, Cotto, Judah?

As a boxing fan, Manny was coasting and had a very easy target, but it was hard to get through.

Infact it would suggest he was normal since it wasn't even that impressive.

I did not think he was "blowing away" Clottey at all. Very boring performance last night. But ok, it's your opinion.

Im guessing the whole reason TS was shocked was because they were defending him.

yeah but he was winning every round by a mile even when clottey landed better punches that says alot about pacs workrate

clottey fought like a coward the most shameful performance for a man who was supposed to be challenging for a title disgusting he made the fight boring

manny did his job. im starting to think mayweather would really struggle to cop with that many punches he can't roll and block all of them

Thats pretty funny cause I had a Black guy and a Mexican tell me in the gym that Floyd Sr is full of **** and Floyd was scared to fight Pac..

He nearly pulled a shutout on all 3 scorecards, how is that not blowing Clottey away.

Clottey has always been a guy who was known for having a low-workrate. But, last night, was the worst I've seen from him. That only means PAC was doin' his thing !!
