yeah, pac gets hit, but he dominated clottey with his workrate. any fighter that is too defensive minded will be too scared to throw their own shots.

floyd had to change his normal shoulder roll defense agaisnt judah cause he was getting tagged at will. he changed his style to clottey's. gloves up coming forward. but judah is better than pac. pac's just a bum.

judah was live for the first 4 rounds, then he was getting tagged at will....got frustrated and resorted to low blows.

what you pointed out tho, was floyd's ability to adapt and change styles in-fight.

yes i know he changed his style to that of clotteys cause his normal style wasn't even good enough to beat judah. and pac is live for the first 12 rounds.

Floyd is a different animal than Clottey. Against a volume puncher, blocking isn't enough as far as defense is concerned. Floyd brings movement and more speed than Clottey. No way can you say last night is relevant to how Pac does against Floyd.

why did floyd resort to a hands up blocking type of style against judah? cause he couldn't handle judah's speed or his southpaw stance and he doesn't like to get hit so he shelled up. obviously that worked against judah but it won't against pac cause we just saw that fight and pac doesn't fade.

no. what i am saying tho, is that if you look at the first four rounds of the judah fight, and look at how clottey got beat yesterday, and assume manny's gonna walk over mayweather, you're mistaken.



there's a reason why roach said march was too soon, and he'd need time to prepare for floyd's style.....meanwhile they signed to fight clottey within 2 months of the fight.


floyd will beat manny, IMO, but it'll be very interesting, and both guys will have their moments, but being able to adapt and think and change on the fly, is far more valuable than relying on beating everybody the same way.
