Even if Margarito's glove situation is somewhat blown out of proportion which I have sometimes think it was, it still doesn't change the fact that he got ****in squashed like a g**** by the guy who is fighting Floyd. How is it gonna look for Pac to take this fight if Mayweather and Mosley fight a rematch with each other?

And even if Floyd and Mosley do fight each other a second time, a Margarito-Pac fight is wrong on so many levels. Margarito would pretty much be leap frogging over fighters who have been putting in work. And he's not even a tougher challenge for Pac than those very fighters including the elite 140 lbers like Bradley, Alexander, Maidana, and even Valero in my view. Yeah, I know people accuse me of not using my head by saying that those smaller fighters are tougher challengers than Clottey and Margarito, but they are also not coming off losses like those guys are. And that makes them more deserving. Manny needs to fight guys on top of their game and he hasn't done that since the rematch with JMM.

Margarito wouldn't have much of a chance. He would get hit so cleanly, so often. He would get stopped and it wouldn't be competitive. No way he can trap Pac on the ropes, Pac's movement is just too good.

I find it hard to believe that Margarito would stand much of a chance. Just looking at the Mosley fight Shane could not miss with the right hand I have to imagine Manny can be effective with the straight left all night. Margarito would throw more than Clottey but he would be open all night (if he throws or not). Add into that that Mosley pushed Margarito's **** in so it is tough to imagine his toughness holding out.

Does Margarito deserve a shot? No

Would it be entertaining and a must watch? HELL YES...

It would be a damn good fight, but it's not what I want. I want the Floyd fight before both get too old.

To tell you the truth, personally I prefer Mosely over Marg in excitement.
