Pac actually let Clottey hit him with a couple of punches and uppercuts to save him from being an embarrasment .

Ask yourselves this: If Clottey was able to triple uppercut Pacquiao cleanly, what does a guy like Floyd do to him?

And the dreams of Floyd losing his edge and therefore he losing to Pacquiao must be put to rest as well. Pacquiao is much older in boxing years than Floyd is.

In the end of the day, after a illustrious career, Floyd Mayweather came out of retirement to beat the p4p #2, the p4p #3 and the p4p #1 in this order... Cherry picking? I agree. Picking the best that is!
thx. At least am not alone in this forum to think this..

On the other hand, Floyd won't be able to miss Pacquiao!
Pacquaio was square when Clottey threw that. He went square on like 6 times to get Clottey to open up. Yes it was bad to get hit like that, but I don''t think Pac will do that with Floyd.

Floyd is accurate, but so is Clottey. Clottey arms don't get as tired because he doesn't throw, and he is fast.

Yes I agree Floyd will hit the target, he is fast and accurate, but Pac is accurate too. Pac does get hit but there's a great chance he will hit you back more.

Pac still dominated. Floyd wont be able to potshot for a UD.
cotto had a better connect percentage(25%) against clottey, throwing nearly 500 less punches an landing more than pac(20%)

If Pac threw 1300 punches then 20% is 260 punches.

That means Cotto threw 800 and 25% of that is 200

I base winning a fight on connects and not %

not if your smart and clinch him like Mayweather, Mosley, Williams, B-hop do in some of their fights.

A Clinch= Reduced Workrate of any high volume Puncher

Just look at Mosley vs Marg..
