Agree Floyd would have to stand his ground and fight or he gets drowned by that ridiculous offensive assault. His occasional potshots will get thru but will it be enough? I dont think so. He would have to be in a dog fight with pac to beat pac. and that's pac's territory.

I said it in an earlier post, this fight is going to turn out to be like rounds 10 and 11 of Cotto vs. Pacquiao. I think everyone is still high on the fact that Pacquiao threw 1,200 punches at Clottey. I doubt he throws half as many against Mayweather. There's no way in hell Mayweather makes this a dog fight. He's going to stick and move all night and leave it to the judges.

I used to think Pacquiao vs. Mayweather would be a classic fight, but the more I think about it, we have another De La Hoya vs. Whitaker on our hands. One fighter throwing a lot but not landing much, and the other fighter not throwing enough, but not getting hit.

Honestly, if Floyd happens to lose, I wouldn't mind in the least Pac-Mosley.

mosley KO's pacquiao and floyd schools him....people slag floyd off but are you really thick enough to believe mayweather wont throw combos if he has to ? only reason he potshots is because he can and still wins. floyd is a crafty mother****er in the ring he will frustrate pacman the fight will be won at the press conferences manny wont be able to handle the mind games.

I think the moseley fight will give us more hindsight as to how the pac-floyd fight would go.

No,thats not what I'm getting at,and I respect you and I know you aint a *****,you are a fan. What I am saying is Floyd wont be able to do the things that have been the hallmark of his career with the same level of impunity that he has been able to thru his career,likewise for Pac. Any boxing fan would have to be blind if they didnt recognise that these two fighters are so far ahead of everybody else,and that whats gone before only offers a hint at what we can expect.

I see this fight playing out much like Duran v Leonard 1.

Fair comment,but we have only seen floyd put on clinics,we havent seen him go into the trenches,and in the spirit of balance,Manny hasnt fought anyone like Floyd.

I just pray that Floyd dont blow his lines against Mosley,as this fight needs to happen!
