  • KNOWRISK: manny would have won anyway. but.........

Didn't it seem like the deck was PURPOSELY stacked against Clottey to lose this fight? From his trainer mysteriously not being able to get a visa, and the media not making much of a big deal about it. To his "interim" trainer talking to the commentators DURING the fight!!! A pay-per-view fight and instead of shouting instructions, youre talking to the ring side commentators?? What the??!!! And everything he said was as if it was a "set-up" to back up the negative statements the commentators were saying about Clottey.

On a side note....saying Clottey was scared really annoyed me. A scared man doesn't keep coming FORWARD. Manny's hands were too fast and had too good of footwork for Clottey to do anything. Clottey actually pretty much fought how he NORMALLY fights and how he said he was going to fight anyway. Unfortunately for him, Pac never wore down enough for him to mount any type of continued offense.

Clottey set himself up for failure. You don't take on a dangerous fighter on short notice, and without your trainer. He had no strategy, no speed, and made no adjustments. That **** was a travesty and a waste of time. It's obvious he just came to pick up a check and run.

Not really. Simple answer: his style was useless against Pacquiao's. Can't we just leave it at that? Does there have to be some kind of conspiracy theory bull**** as well?

Again, what's with the ******ed conspiracy theories?

He had no clue how to deal with Pacquiao. End of story.

          Point 1: what a show.

          Point 2: you're deluded bigtime.

You're missing the point. I clearly said in the TITLE that Pac would have won ANYWAY. But you didn't find it odd his regular trainer SUDDENLY gets denied a visa and that his interim trainer was talked to the commentators DURING THE FIGHT? I found BOTH of those things to be VERY odd.

lol, I didnt even catch the HBO broadcast. Was his trainer really talking to the Commentators during the fight? What kind of **** is that for a major fight?

                EXACTLY!!! lol
I wasn't bashing Manny. Cause like I said, he would have won regardless. But what kind of trainer goes and talks to the commentators DURING the fight??!! And then NO ONE as much as "bats an eye" about it? Just doesn't seem right.
