I Noticed something Lastnight, Floyd beats Manny easier than I thought

All credit to Manny he fought a good fight, his combination's where crazy and it was good to see him throwing some nice body shots,
But Clottey landed that straight right hand every time he threw it,
Manny has absolutely no head movement and was extremely easy for Clottey to hit, even up close.......
His defense is extremely weak, He doesn't hold his hands up...
A sharp shooter like Floyd would batter Manny, And maybe knock him out in the late rounds

Only if Pac fought the same way he did last night, After May 1 we would be saying how easy Pac would beat Mayweather also.

I agree that Clottey connected that right and an uppercut far too often. However I also feel that Floyd won't throw enough of those to win the rounds either. Floyd has to do a lot more than throw a straight right, Floyd will have to bring out his A game.

Pac was coasting the fight and was not at his best. Only when Clottey unloaded would Pac actually start throwing his combo's. He got hit but very often he stood there square on to get Clottey out of his guard.

I'm confident that Pac took it easy for some reason. He couldn't get through that defense but he ddn't want to risk too much either.

Clottey is really good at that straight right hand and was taking 30 seconds of punishment to find an opening for that right hand, and he would not sit in front of Mayweather like he did Clottey.

Manny has shown plenty of head movement in previous fights, completely ridiculous to say he has no head movement.

I cannot believe there are people who think Floyd has an easy time with Pac after watching that fight. Clottey makes everyone he fights look awkward, and Pac completely shut him out.

I think both cause problems for each other. Floyd will have to deal with Manny hand speed and Manny will have to try not to get counter out nite. I think Floyd would win becuase win circle after throwing his combs his hand are down and Floyd could land that leaping left hook. I think it would be a could fight but I would give a slight edge to Floyd.

pac knew nothing was coming his way so he took more chances. Only difference I see in this fight & a fight with may is pac will have to chase. But we won't have to worry bout that b/c we will be talking bout ssm/pac come may 2

Maybe I’m in the minority in stating this but I really think the exact opposite. Floyd could not beat Pac pop shotting on the outside one punch at a time. Pac’s work rate alone would be enough to make an impression on the judges even if the punches were blocked by Floyd.

Regarding punches landed on Pac from Clottey they still were few and far in between. For all we know Pac may have just wanted Clottey to get out of his turtles hell defense only to counter with more combinations, and I think that strategy worked because I have never seen Joshua eat that much leather.

              Hey just my two cents.

have you ever stopped to think about manny's offense? you know, instead of just thinkin about floyd on the offensive

also i doubt may is as durable as clottey, those body shots were fearsome

People are really underestimating Pac's improved counter punching in a potential matchup against Floyd. He has learned how to use the opportunities when his opponents open up on offense to throw those deadly combinations. That's why Floyd would have to throw his own combinations when Manny misses, because if he thinks he can throw a shot and dance away Manny will outwork, outland, and beat him.

excellent post. Even if Floyd has success with the straight right, and I know he will land that shot versus Manny...... what's he gonna do after? Because we know Floyd doesn't really throw combos these days... Manny will knock his gloves together, prompting a roar from the crowd, and move forward landing 5 and 7 punch combos, including bodyshots, while Floyd tucks up
