Why did people expect Soto to steamroll Diaz? Makes no sense. He's not a Lightweight, Diaz is a tough fighter. I haven't seen the fight yet, but I expected Soto to struggle.

Soto boxed well for majority of the fight, he was abit to patient at times though which allowed Diaz to get abit back into it.

Good fight by Soto though, he was a clear winner.

Diaz was already trailing Soto on the scorecards and when he touched the canvas again at the last round he fate was sealed. Kinda felt bad for him

I'm a big soto fan, and your right, Soto doesn't belong at this weight class. Soto is a damn good fighter and any hardcore fan should be a fan of his, but he needs to stay in his weight class. And Arum needs to stop wasting his time and give him some good fights.

You def get the feeling that soto is being primed to be fed to someone much bigger and stronger.

Yes, and it wasn't quite what I thought it would be. Diaz was Diaz, but Soto was sloppy and lacked his usual stamina. Good win, but he can be beaten at 135.
