Anyone else notice flaws on Manny's performance??

I saw it on the cotto fight and I saw it on the clottey fight...against a physically stronger fighter pacquiao becomes a sucker for an uppercut...clottey had good defense and if he pulled a 1-2 combination to manny and followed up with a cautious jab along with a few uppercuts the fight would have been different...clottey's bicepts could easily penetrate through pacquiao's defense when he has his hands up facing forward...pushing on the outside with straight cautious punches, and uppercutting when manny is on the inside with your hands completly up and guarded could be the key to upsetting pacquiao...after seeing this performance I am convinced that Mayweather's defense will trouble pacquiao not only that but floyd takes more risk than clottey amd has a faster/more effective jab...I definately saw some flaws in manny's performance..He did well though, but from now on other fighters will learn more from studying the clottey fight than any other of pacquiao's fights...

His defense is about as good as Cotto's. Margarito was landing the uppercut against Cotto all night. Both Cotto and Clottey were able to land the uppercut against Pacquiao. Also, Pacquiao drops his right hand a lot. Marquez and Cotto had success landing the left hook.

      the thing is...

Mayweather is fond of throwing straight jabs...

unless he learns to throw lotsa uppercuts

but that would mean going toe to toe with pac

      which Mayweather doesnt like.

You've seen the straight right land with ease for Clottey tonight, Mayweather's favorite punch.

The right lead landing was the only real flaw i saw on Pacquiao. the uppercuts against both Clottey and Cotto i felt were simply because Pac stood there wanting to get hit in hopes of getting the opponent to open up the offense to start an exchange. I felt he could have easily avoided every uppercut landed on him if he wanted to.

Trust me, Mayweather will be prepared.

If at any given time pacquiao gets close to mayweather which he will then mayweather needs to land that uppercut...hooks don't work on pacquiao...mayweather needs body movement, stiff jabs on the outside, shoulder roll, and hen pacquiao gets too close land an uppercut or multiple upper cuts like cotto amd clottey did...I can't believe clottey's trainer never looked at the uppercuts that have been landed on pacquiao in the past...other fighters were too focused on hooks...the thing about the uppercut is that the hand throwing the punch comes back up to defensive place and it doean't allow pacquiao to throw his angle punches...not to mention strong welterweights can muscle the uppercut inside pacquiao's defense...straight punches and stiff jabs are also affective...just don't try to land hooks or open punches on pac!

These flaws are no secret, he is an aggressive all action fighter and never was a defensive wizard.....when you take chances to inflict damage the likelihood of being countered increases dramatically.

If any other elite welterweight were to catch that mistake ans just straight punch, defend, and uppercut on the inside pac would be bitting more than he can chew

The left hooks will land. Mayweather leans to the left when he throws the left hook. It's not the same as Hatton, who jumped in throwing the left hook.
