Of course he could , it looks like he did , Arum is his boss ,,, the dude never tried , if you fight somebody that you said you couldnt feel his punches dont you think you would have a serious go ,, Clottey who was stronger clammed up and never threw anything , even the times when he landed he backed of WTF , it looked like an exhibition .
Clottey looked to take a dive , never tried

I think Clottey was paid and I'm a huge Manny fan. The fight just didn't make any sense at all. Clottey didn't fight with any sense of urgency. It was clear to me after the second round. He was losing every round and didn't even attempt to step up. Anyone that says otherwise is just blind or is just biased.Comment

I'm not going to go as far as to say Clottey took a dive. I think that's unfair to Manny, who certainly put in his full effort. But after a while, it became appearent that he was O.K. with losing. Clottey just didn't want to take any risks, even during the few times he hit Pac. As Herm Edwards would put it...

Obviously, the terms shot, damaged goods, old geezer, past his prime and weight drained cannot be applied to clottey, so instead he took a dive, fight is rigged. I wonder what other excuse some people would make up next, or have we seen/heard it all?
I think I was much more excited--with what excuses the haters would come up this time--than I was of the fight itself.Comment

****** thread.
Clottey was just too slow, so all he could do was cover up in his closed guard for 12 rounds.
And the TS says he took a dive lol, idiot.Comment
