Give Rafeal a break. Fatty Danny only says what hes paid to say. Arum controls him. If Ralphy says anything negative about Pac-Man, he's on the streets.

Ive felt pac has been slipping physically since the Cotto fight.

His reflexes are not what they use to be, but he has gained the invaluable quality known as ring savey.

He doesn't have to rely on reflexes any more. He knows how to position himself so he doesn't get hit as easily, or as hard.

He definitely was pretty sloppy defensively in this fight. Bringing his punches back low, not moving his head as much.

Defense is still an afterthought for the guy, nothing you can do about that. He is not a defense first fighter, but he has learned to position himself.

Im watching this fight again. Mannys footwork is amazing. Ive never seen anyone ever to throw combinations on the move like that.

This fight was a masterclass on positioning.
I agree, Clottey has been able to get his lead foot on the outside of his southpaw opponents, except Pac. Every time I saw Clottey try to regain his position Pac seemed to subconciously adjust (no peeking) and not give up the positioning.

I don't want to go out of context here but if Clottey faught like that against me, I could have beaten him too. If he just stood there and didn't throw anything.

dan rafael is an acomplished journalist, you on the other hand? nsb forum star? lmao

Pacman may be a good fighter but I wouldnt say it was flawless and the perfect fight for him. He was never tested. Clottey didnt do nothing, he never really tested him. He just turtled the whole fight, he never let his hands go it was natural that pacman will win. This type of fight is what I hate about contenders. If you are not hungry for the belt and not gonna go for it then dont even both fighting in boxing, if you want a pay check get out of this sport and get out of main events. Pacman may be good but Clotty made him look superhuman. If he at least tried "boxing" pacman, and Manny won then I would say wow great fight by Manny, but right now Im saying go manny knock that bum out of here how is he calling himself a boxer.

still PAC is the only one who looked good versus clottey and convincingly beat him, their were bigger stronger guys that beat him but could not look as good....
