The issue I have with Clottey was his insistence on not fighting. He was clammed up in a shell before the first punch was thrown.

You can still be true to your roots as a fighter without selling yourself short in the biggest stage of your career. You were present with 30K against Cotto and you choked. You were present with 50K people and didn't even show up at any point. At one point you have to take the bull by horns and go for it.

His performance was truly shameful. It was really like I said in another thread, the equivalent of step-aside money.
