It wouldn't have made a difference in the outcome of the fight. St. Pierre had a weight advantage of about 15lbs. He weighed 186 for his fight with Penn, only until recently did move to 195.

Penn has never submitted anyone off of his back in MMA and against a guy with a weight advantage and strong top control it wasn't going to change.

Penn even said that St. Pierre's hardest shots were from inside the guard, he didn't even have to pass guard to beat the **** out of BJ.
