Soto did alright tonight but if he fought someone like marquez fighting like that he would be beat easy.Soto seemed more comfortable when he was starting the action like in the 12 throwing powerful combinations.Soto is a good boxer but not when he is back pedalling

Best fight of the night, and wasn't even that good.

Soto did not look good late, he clearly won but not that impressively. Not to me anyway.

He did not fight as well as he did in the early rounds but I never saw Diaz connect with anything meaningful. Diaz never hurt Soto in the entire fight. On the otherhand Soto dropped him twice and hurt him several times throughou the fight. Easy win for Soto although did not look in top form.

Marquez vs Soto might be in the works, but if Soto does not step it up a notch Marquez will KO him just like he KO'd Casamayor and Juan Diaz.

Soto is an excellent fighter, but he needs to work on his mental lapses and stamina a bit.

He could've knocked Diaz out last night but he took his foot off the gas in the middle rounds.

Soto's looked pretty average at 135, compared to how good he seemed at 130

i thought soto boxed real good. I thought he was just a brawler, but soto has good skills and he dropped diaz, wasn't expecting that.

he's gonna need all that skill at 135 lbs because he isn't the biggest guy there

he needs to go back to 130,he didn't look good...valero will ko him too...just go back to 130 and unify with martinez, that should be a good fight, martinez doesn't go around running and holding,he likes to fight

Seriously and I'm not calling Diaz a bum, but there are better opponents out there.
