Even as a Dane myself, I'd say Ward would beat him in Denmark as well.. He just plain and simple out boxed him in every way that fight. Sure the referee was somewhat biased and should have given fouls, it wouldn't change the outcome. Kessler had no idea what was hitting him and when it was hitting him :-)

He outclassed Kessler in every aspect in their fight, Kessler can't adapt to change that.

No matter where they fight or the ref, Ward beats Kess everytime they meet.

Ward did "school" Kessler, to be honest. If it hadn't been for all the intentional headbutts and all the holding, he probably still would have won though. Still, I would have preffered Ward not throwing all those headbutts.

THAT night Ward would have won anywhere. But who knows what would happen if Kessler prepares more than 3 weeks, has southpaws for sparringpartners, a neutal referee, a partisan crowd backing him? And how would Ward fight in the later rounds if he didn't get "vitamins" from doping-godfather and BALCO chief Victor Conte?

Well I'm not quit sure how the outcome would be, possibly a more well prepared Kessler, who in the first place should have not underestimated him and prepared and sparred with southpaws. Somehow I still struggle to see the Kessler we saw in that fight take out Ward. Who knows if he actually has been able to adjust to other styles, modify his approach according to the way his opponents box. Sure Ward had a biased referee, a crowd cheering for him, basically the fight was in his own backyard, but I still struggle to see how Kessler would beat him, unless he had a revamp done to the way he adjusts, which he should have gotten for the Froch fight coming up (even though he has the advantage vs Froch style wise imo). So all in all, I wouldn't know for sure, it would be a fight I'd pay to watch, that's for sure if it was set on neutral ground with an unbiased ref.
