  • Have you ever missed out on important dates because of boxing?

    Such as birthdays, weddings, etc..

I have many times. I will today. My mom called today to tell me that it was my cousins 15 b-day.. I told her I wasn't going because of the fight.
She said how could I put boxing before family? My thing is, you wouldn't have your birthday or wedding during the Super Bowl.. y would u do it during a big fight?

**** watching the replay.. I want to watch it NOW.
Anyone else missed out on things like that due to boxing?

I'm sure plenty of guys here have passed up ***** because of boxing. I remember reading someone's post and they said they passed up sex for Hopkins-Calzaghe.

      Dec. 6, Pac - DLH.

I was to meet my wife and a bunch of her old friends for a major reunion.

      I promised I'd show but I didn't.

That's when I learned the true meaning of "being in the dog house."

I held up my friends, on my own birthday no less, to watch Tarver-Hopkins and Cotto-Judah.

You're not flaking, you just have a real bad cold. *wink wink*

A sudden bad cold on the day of a major fight is tantamount to an eskimo all of a sudden feeling chilly in Chicago.
