Comments Thread For: Calzaghe Contacts Mikkel Kessler To Help Beat Froch?

There are rumors circulating that retired super middleweight king Joe Calzaghe has reached out to the team of his old foe Mikkel Kessler to offer advice on beating WBC champion Carl Froch. Kessler spoke with Ekstra Bladet, and said he would be honored if Calzaghe was willing to help him win. Kessler takes on Froch on April 24 in Denmark. Calzaghe and Froch have had a domestic rivalry for several years. [Click Here To Read More]

Battling Nelson already beat Pump to it. And Joe Calzaghe knows that his pathetic legacy is hanging on this fight.

Kessler doesn't need Joe to beat Froch. I'm surprised he is even open to Joe's advice. I would have thought he would have turned it down.

Still, it's pretty funny Joe is helping Kessler to beat his countryman, no matter the bad blood between them . I wonder what the English people think of that.

Since Calzaghe is significantly more popular than Froch in the UK, I would think they'd be alright with it.

Ni99a please? Calzaghe's foot could have a lighter on it and he'd still be in witness protection.
