Not really, Soto hasnt really done much to enhance his growing reputation a couple of years ago, I seem to remember soto been tout has a future Pacquiao opponent some years ago but since then he has gone wayward a bit, So Diaz beating him doesnt do much apart from eliminate one of the gatekeepers..

Humberto is not a gate keeper he is a champion at SFW, after winning interim & the vacant SFW WBC title, he defended it a few times, its not soto's fault that he did not have any dance partner @SFW, IMHO his mistake was he did not go with the flow of things and followed the big named fighters up the weight classes...
