in what way???a catch weight benefits a fighter worried about his opponent coming in too big while a blood test benefits a fighter worrying about his opponent using PEDs. contracts are designed to address the concerns of both parties entering into them.

yes what you are trying to establish is that most fans are ok with pac bending the rules but not ok with pbf doing the same right? well, pac did bend the rules but his opponent gave it a go, and no bitterness was sensed between them even after the fight. what mayweather did (or tried to do) was change the regulations, but his opponent wasn't ok with it (or they weren't able to agree on specific terms) so the negotiations fell off.

do you think most of these pacfans out here would be complaining if pacquiao just agreed with the test? no. so all these commotion has to do about the camp who's trying to demand additional terms but wouldn't give in to meet the offer of the opposing camp. if pac insisted the catchweight, cotto refused, and the fight was cancelled because of it, i'd be pissed as hell too... it's that simple.

no...im addressing the ppl who say floyd is making up rules when he asks for blood testing, and saying it's a double standard. i dont think doing either is bending or making up rules. it's a contract, ppl should be allowed to put whatever they please in the contract and it's up to the other party to decide to accept. but then you have people like roach and arum and even a few on this site saying floyd is making up rules, they are hypocrites. you feel how i do actually.

I agree I'd do a blood test any day then come in a few pounds drained, people who never box dont realize that those few extra pounds can take a toll on certain individuals...
