very little difference between them, their styles are nearly identical in terms of punching technique, Hatton is maybe more aggressive and Cotto is a more patient counter-puncher, but they both love the left hook to the liver

After seeing what Chop Chop did to Cotto it makes me think a higher class opponent like Hatton could KO him but Cotto is still pure class and would make it a hard fight. I'd probably say Hatton UD.
I'm a MASSIVE Hatton fan... But I reckon I've seen somthing in Cotto that makes him the best 140lbr'. I think Cotto would beat Hatton.

To be honest, I genuinely think Cotto is ready now. I think he'd beat any 140lbr out there... Including Tszyu/PBF

Not yet, Cotto's looked impressive but i think Hatton has his number at the moment. I'd like to see Cotto cope with backing up a bit better than he does normally, i think Hatton would hurt him because his defence is just hands up.

If there is ever a fight between any of the above i'll bet you, you take Cotto, i'll take any of the others.

            Interesting...

I'm just thinking, Hatton doesn't have that concussive power that Cotto has.

Hatton is not a big puncher despite his KO record... He wears opponents down, untill they give up. At top level they won't give up, so I see Hatton going to points a lot.

Where as Cotto is a big puncher... He'll KO fighters at the top level.

I don't think he was exposed by Chop Chop, in fact... I think that fight has made him stronger, I believe he'll now realise that he's not invinsible, and will be a little more carefull coming in throwing the big shots.

I was also VERY impressed with the way that he dealt with adversity... (Yeah I know, Corley did a **** job of trying to finish him when he had him hurt).

              Bizarre, considering his last performance.

good point(s). also cotto has a lil better defense than hatton. hatton seems to get hit alot so by the end of a fight his face looks like he had an allergic reaction to sum seafood. anyway it would be a real real tough fight to judge.
