      Better than the original post:

De la Hoya won 8 out of 12 rounds, and got robbed. Trinidad recieved a gift decision, there was probably more money to see him fight other guys than DLH.

What did all his wins have in common? (Minus maybe Reid and Yory, because I can't say I've seen them) They all tried to take Trinidad's power, and take Trinidad out. They stood toe-to-toe with him. That proves nothing of his greatness as a boxer, only as a puncher.

DLH did not win 8 out of 12 rounds..I had that fight a draw I say he won 7 rounds but the 12th could of been a 2 point round becuase all he did was run, I thought it was a draw, Trinidad was never a great boxer he was great puncher/fighter. Im susprised you never heard of the American Dream David Ried..he was suppose to be like the next Roy Jones

I wasn't into boxing back then. Most of the fights I've seen have been recently, and 95% of them are from the 90's.

Even if he won 7 rounds, he still wins the fight. You don't deduct points for avoidance of another fighter. If you do that, then Mosely loses all his damn points to Forrest in Mosely-Forrest II. He ran all night.

There will never be another Roy Jones, either. The man was an abnormal athlete.
