    Fight night weight Differential Gatti?

How much weight does Prettty Boy usually put on after weighing in? We all know Gatti puts on alot. If he comes into the ring 12-13 pounds heavier than Mayweather, will that be advantageous to Gatti against Mayweathers style?

The heavier he comes in the slower he'll be. He's gotta come in lighter if that's even a possibility.

Mayweather usually weighs in around 145-150 at fight night.

I expect Gatti to come in heavy (wouldnt be surprised to see the 160 mark) to try and bully Mayweather around.

Smaller. Floyd came in last fight at 142 or so and has never been at 145, much less 150. He's already down to 140 in camp right now. He could still make 130 or 135 probably if he wanted to.

I thought he came in at 148 for one fight? Thanks for giving me the heads up, it is no wonder Mayweather eats doughnuts after his workouts. He is struggling to gain to make weight. He is damn good at what he does I guess.

I reckon Gatti will come in quite a bit heavier as he's the natural Light-welterweight... (I think Mayweather is a natural lightweight at the moment).

I don't think it'll slow Gatti down, in fact I think it will be more off an advantage to Gatti! Because his punches will be harder, and he'll be able to push Mayweather around in a clinch.

But I still think Mayweather will win!

Yeah, Mayweather was talking about some **** like that how fighters come in way too big for the fight and they have no discipline and stuff like that.

Outside of promotors, all the belts, and the politics that's one of the things I hate about the sport the most. I wish all fighters had the weigh in like 1 hour or less before the fight.

I think that when a fighter get's seriously hurt in the ring (brain problems) it's because of weight issues.

I don't think it's healthy for someone to dehydrate their body and starve themselves 1 day before they go into a huge battle!

But I'm not sure that weigh-in's on the same day/1hr before would change anything, infact they may make the problem worse...

Random weight checks (between fights) could be the way forward perhaps.
