I keep hearing this. Did he really buy all these tickets and if so where is the proof? Even if he did whats the difference between him buying them and the coporate sponsors? Either way they are counted as a purchase and both are given away.

"It has been confirmed by Michael Ckonz (Pacquiao Adviser) that 30,000 tickets has already bought by Jerry Jones as part of the contract to fight in Dallas "HUGE" Stadium."

And idiots actually believe that Jerry Jones is giving away 30,000 tickets.

LMAO, he's a business man, he's in this to make money. People don't understand that, Jones is responsible for selling a portion of the tickets, he is in fact acting as a promoter himself.

Exactly. He didn't buy tickets for 30,000 of his closest friends and family.

yes it counts as a sale but the majority of those tickets wouldnt have sold if it werent for jj buying them all in one shot.

how so? How is it any different than major ticket brokers buying most of the tickets within hours of a big fight, then turn around and sell those tickets to the general public??

JJ is not giving these tickets out for free, he's selling them.

not that its different but it wouldnt have sold that fast. 41k tickets have been sold, 30k by jj, so in actuality if jj didnt buy any tickets at all there would only be 11k sold right now.

the fact that he bought the majority of the tickets and it still hasnt sold out tells you the fight hasnt sold that well.

Your assuming that if he didn't buy them, nobody else would have. What about the people that bought them from him (presumably at a mark up). Don't you think they'd buy?
