Paulie insisted this fight to take place in his own backyard in New York. GBP tried to set this fight up in Detroit to avoid biased judging against Amir, yet Amir himself told GBP to make this fight in New York because all the greats have fought there.
Knowing Paulie's backfoot style and his lack of power, I believe that if Amir doesn't dominate Paulie or knock him out he will get robbed.

Golden Boy have invested too much in Khan and need to see a return on their investment. They have pulled too many weird moves already with Khan the prime example being the convoluted Maidana duck deal. GBP are not above stacking the odds in their fighter's favour. Against this background I just don't see unbiased refereeing and judging. I felt the refereeing would be biased in the Khan Barrera fight favouring Khan and I have an even stronger intuitive feeling with this fight.
Despite this fight being on foreign soil. GBP are attempting to get US exposure for Khan ,that is what this fight is about trying to promote Khan. Malignaggi does not have equal standing in this event. This fight is not going to be like Froch going to the States and fighting Taylor where everything was against him. This is set up for Khan.
GBP is not bigger then the comissions and the sanctioning bodies man. If you lose, you lose. I hope youre right but you remember what happened with Lewis-Holyfield I?
