It's actually a smaller percentage of his overall body weight being added on than Pacquiao was doing at lighter weights.
    Exactly.

This fight is becoming more of a joke.

Yes, but he also mentioned (or was it Ariza) on Countdown how he's really a lightweight

Pacquiao was a lightweight before he started drinking Ariza's special drinks. Now he's a fully developed Welterweight.

Yet he still weights 10 lbs less than all the other fully developed Welterweights.

          Strange how that is.

Pac weighs 3 pounds more in the ring than he did at 130 two years ago. Must be the juice. :thinking1:

Ariza should've lent some of that special drink to Marquez. At worst, I bet it tastes better than piss.

As he always is? In 2 fights on Showtime, and 2 on HBO, when have they ever showed a fight night weight for him besides the Judah fight where they weighed him at 156 in the locker room?

Water-weight and muscle-weight are two different things.

Pacquiao is just as ripped at 147 for the weigh-in, as he was for the weigh-in at 130 against Marquez just over a year ago.

Mayweather fought at 130 only weighing 136 against fighters at 130 who weighed 144lbs. Does this mean those fighters, such as Castillo, could suddenly fight at WW a few months later and look just as ripped at the 147 weigh-in. Or does this mean Mayweather wasn't a real 130lb fighter back then since he was usually 8lbs smaller... No, You have to understand those fighters are cutting water-weight and hydrating back up, which is why they don't look ripped in the ring on fight-night.

Pacquiao, despite being only 3lbs bigger on paper, looks like a totally different fighter. He looks like a natural WW now. Those secret blends from Ariza are working very well!
