    Will We Now Get Bradley-Alexander?

i talked to a few posters on here about the possibility of a Bradley-Alexander showdown but we all came across the same roadblock : Showtime

now that Alexander is an HBO fighter, it would have been difficult to see him against a Showtime fighter

it seemed to be the only hurdle...but now, ESPN reports that Bradley has signed on with HBO and will make his debut on Boxing After Dark in June

could we possibly see Bradley-Alexander at the end of this year?

Junior welterweight titlist Timothy Bradley Jr., the No. 1-rated 140-pounder in the world since pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao's exit from the division, will switch to HBO.

If Bradley beats Abregu in some sort of decisive fashion at 147, in my mind he will have moved a whole other level above where Alexander is now.

Seriously, this is a ballsy and maybe not so smart move by Tim and he deserves a **** load of credit win or lose.

I actually think the opposite. I think Bradley is testing the waters at 147 to land Mosley, Mayweather or Pacquiao and the big money fights. He has mentioned hed fight both at 147 in the past too.I think if he looks great at 147 he'll stay there if he struggles he'll drop back down and fight Alexander.

          HBO is playing promoter....

The prospect of Bradley vs. Alexander has people really excited. Alexander really picked up a lot of hype from his performance against Urango, and Bradley is as highly respected as any young fighter in the sport.

Make no mistake about it, HBO definitely overpaid for the Abregu fight just like they did Dawson/Tarver 2, so Bradley will be in the HBO family, and more importantly, so they can match Alexander and Bradley.

Crazy what an impact networks have on what fights get made. That's why I laugh at the people who don't care about ratings or PPV buyrates and say we shouldn't care...we SHOULD care cause they play a huge role in what fights we may or may not see.

I can see them marinating it.

Bradley vs. Khan/Malignaggi winner in fall.

Alexander vs. Judah in June, and then against Ortiz/Campbell Winner in fall(HBO definitely still wants to push Ortiz)

Then winners this time next year in a massive JWW fight.

No way. A fight with Floyd or Pacquiao is not even feasible for him. It will NEVER happen and Shaw knows this. Bradley is the MAN at 140, and the best way to build him up is to bring the profile of the JWW division up, and showcase Bradley. So then if he cleans out 140, his move up to WW will be highly anticipated.

Right now no one knows who the **** Tim Bradley is.

I could see this being HUGE, alot of other respectable opponents either can face besides eachother.
