So is Cotto's, you saw it in the Clottey and Packy fights. You don't mentally recover from a savage ass beating like the one he suffered. Well, at least not everyone, and Cotto is one of the ones who can't.

So something was on them then? Which is it?

He's playing the innocent victim card bigtime and tripping up.

Why was one of the wraps dirty and one clean then Tony? How would you not sit there and realise your wraps are different to what they usually are? How could you not feel it on your own hands? Why do you keep saying mixed up things on the whole occasion like this?

It's becoming increasingly obvious he was somewhat aware there was something not right with his wraps, but he's trying desperately to push it into his sub conscience, and it's tripping him up.
He's saying how could he had fought with a hard piece of plaster on his gloves and not break his hand when trying to punch someone with it, it makes absolute sense.

Every true boxing fan is a fan of Margarito. We didn't just find out who he was a year or two ago.

Margarito came up in this sport the hard way.He came in with little to no amateur credentials. He had to deal with the tragic death of his brother and even when he finally did achieve his goal of becoming a world champion, spent years waiting for the big names to man up and step in the ring with him.

Margarito wasn't a marketing tool like Paul Williams is.He was legitimately avoided by virtually every one from 147-154.

Straight up man!!!! Im puerto rican , and it hurt me to see Cotto lose against him , cuz hes my countryman and I have to support him , I couldnt hate on Margarito cuz he is a warrior , and the mexicans have a great legacy in this sport. For real. And I just couldnt hate. But Margarito , is a special case , Margarito , is a proven cheater , We will never know if he did it against Cotto , but he didnt give us many options as to what to believe. And is sad , Cuz his style was attractive , "el 7 mares" is a nickname he carries well and suites him , He has heart he he had will. I personally feel betrayed cuz I actually liked the guy , I respected him. And Honestly , It wouldnt surprise me if he is allowed to fight again in Vegas or some , But he shoulndt be allowed , because , he attempted something that endangered the other fighters life , and we can just assume it wasnt the first time. He should not be allowed to fight , he disrespected the sport. Cuz ped's are one thing , they might make u better overall. But , illegal raps are lethal. Not just ilegal , LETHAL. he might as well , but brass knuckles and fought with them. I feel like he was great , he reached a certain status that not all fighters reach , but he ruined it. And he should never be allowed to fight. Never ever ever , And my mexican friends , dont feel disrespected , I know he whooped Cotto , this aint a racist statement. I think if he fights again , it will only hurt the sport.

If he does not know why a fight in Texas "didnt come true" he is even more unintelligent than I thought he was.
And I was under the impression that he is a real ****** guy.

i don't expect him to headline a major PPV ever again, honestly.

he may get manny, if he's reinstated, b/c they are both top rank fighters, but after that, i expect him to be fighting journeymen.

Whatever the case may be if Tony comes back and starts knocking people out, all this bull**** will be forgotten you'll see.

You might be right , But I doubt he has something in his tank after being inactive all this time , and after taking even a worst beating after Mosley , Cuz Cotto took a knee , cuz he realized and accepted he couldnt pull it off , But margarito took a dive into the canvas cuz he got knocked the **** out. I dont box , And I train like a boxer , just cuz , its a fun and different way to keep in shape , and I couldnt prob go 6 rounds , one thing is staying in shape , another thing is rust . He got rust. And he aint mayweather , he took punishment. It will surprise me if he can compete with the elite right now.

                      of course.

IF the mayweather negotiations implode again, and

IF tony is licensed somewhere in the U.S. and gets the pacquiao fight, and

IF he manages to beat manny,

he may be able to start calling shots again. but a lot of IF's there.......
