Khan is serious about fighting Mayweather. The plan is to avoid fighting the likes of Maidana in order to remain unbeaten and set up a huge money fight before he gets exposed again and the big paydays grind to a halt. Just as he avoided fighting for British and European titles and jumped the Q to fight Kotelnik he will avoid Alexander and Bradley to get a shot of huge money at Mayweather. Boxing is turning into a reality show where you no longer have to prove yourself to get recognition just have a publicity machine behind you and lots of canned fights. It is pathetic.

He has already proven to be a huge draw in the UK. I think he is on his way to prove he is a great competitor by winning an Olympic silver medal at 17 and becoming world champion at 22.

Never going to happen. Prescott is not a top draw fighter the plan was to wait for him to be exposed ,which he has then say there is no demand for the fight and Khan is now so much better. They have the same plan with Maidana. He avoided the rematch with Barerra ,no way is he fighting Prescott again.

Why being a legit contender isn't enough 2 fight Floyd? Why is it that u have 2 be a huge ppv draw, if your not he won't fight u? People respect that, idk why. So 1Million PPV buys are against a slow, fat 142 pound version of Marquez is better then fighting a guy like Clottey who has almost no fan base but is 1 of the top fighters in your division. He fought Baldomir who was the number 1 guy in only his 3rd fight at WW in 2006 and we all know how that went and how people now dismiss Baldomir as an opponent, So whats the difference between him and clottey??? Because am sure Baldomir and clottey are pretty much in the same boat expect Clottey isnt the linear WW champion.
