I've noticed something interesting as of late. Is it me or are southpaw boxers dominating the boxing game right now? Andre Ward and Dirrell are natural Southpaws, Paul Williams a natural Southpaw, retired Joe Calzaghe a southpaw, Devon Alexander and Juan Urango are both southpaws, Manny Paquiao a southpaw. Although Cotto fights in a conventional stance he to is a southpaw as he writes with his left handed. Kelly Pavlik writes with his left handed but always fights in a conventional stance like Cotto but both have wicked power in both hands. What has happened to right handed fighters handling business. The left hand caused Mayweather problems in both his fights with Judah and Demarcus Corley if anyone remembers but he was able to adapt and overcome. Jones fell victim to Tarver and Calzaghe. Erik Morales and Barrerra both were caught cold by Pacquiao's left hand, and even Shane Mosley was beaten easily by Winky Wright's southpaw stance eventhough he's a right handed fighter similar to Chad Dawson.
