Yes because Chambers hits harder, his offense is better, and we haven't seen Chambers full potential yet. Also Chambers is better at fighting really tall opponents.Last edited by Boxingwizard; 03-11-2010, 09:24 PM.Comment

I was impressed with the fact that a guy who was 6'0 just above 200 pounds could still become champion and hold it as long as he did.
Byrd fought really powerful guys and never ducked anyone.
Fearless.
Not gonna argue with your last point though.Comment

Nah. eddie's fast jab would win the fight, i believe eddie would have to be the aggressor in the fight. eddie would pick off byrd's shots and get in real fast and get off his punches. i dont think byrd would be able to land a clean punch on eddie. and, no i have seen many of byrd's fights and never saw anything that special with him. he was always a 2nd tier fighter to me. i hold eddie in higher regard. id also like to say i think people should stop comparing them, just because they are both fast and small heavys does not make them similar fighters, cause there not IMO. byrd was a more defensive minded fighter while eddie is more of a counter puncher with good D skills. just my 2 cents though.Comment

Byrd is too fast for Chambers and actually let a few more punches to go at his best. Chambers would lose a UD.Comment

You're overrating Chambers. He barely got past an out of shape shot Brock, struggled against overweight Peter and got his ass whooped by Povetkin.believe it or not, chambers dominates him. byrd is overrated. IMO. he was never anything all that special. i view eddie has a better version of chris.
and yes, eddie has a far better shot IMO. he has more pop on his punches and i actually view eddie has the better overall defensive fighter with a solider chin, so yes. eddie just has more dimensions to his game than chris did.
Byrd by UD.Comment
