No it is not the same as it is now. But, it wasn't ordinary either.

That is exactly how a fight between them at 147 would of looked. Tito would of gotten dropped early got up and stop Pac. I was actually thinking the same thing.

Not lying seeing Tito got me all hype right now. I wish he was still in his prime.

i wont go as far as to say pac was ordinary, but his skills were srsly lacking. he got by with a lot of athleticism and with his blazing fast but still powerful style. but from a stylistic standpoint, i did not see anything from pac that made me think he'd be a phenom in the early 2000's. he shocked me and most of the world. i just think it took a little longer for his tedchnique to catch up to his athleticism and abilities.

I like Pac but i'm not about to go on some tyraid saying he could dominate every guy out there. But i have said this before and I'll say it again, his KO percentage before he moved up in weight like when he was at 126 and below was over 70%. Since he moved up, it is like 75%, so I have yet to hear when he became "incredible" and allegedly started to take the mythical juice or whatever that made him invincible. The fact is dude was always great and has gotten greater than before by a small margin, he has abilities that few others will ever have, just like Mayweather does.

i lmao at JoKe1700 thread that pac was an ordinary boxer at the age of 25, who in the history of the sport has become a lineal champion at the age of 19 and the only boxer in the history to win a lineal tittle at flyweight and featherweight at the age of 23... this JoKe1700 was pathetic.

Kind of hate to respond to a post this old, but the answer is that Paq didnt really gain much weight if any at all. Even when he was fighting at 130 he would weigh in at 130 and on fight night he would be 144. He and Roach figured out that if they moved up to higher weight classes they wouldnt have to cut weight and thereby would have more energy on fight night, leading to more punching power throughout a fight, and more stamina, as evidenced by the 118 punches thrown in round 10 vs Clottey. I am betting that more fighters will be using the same plan in the near future.

Do you know why it was 70% KO only at 126 below? The 1st 13 fight of Pac at flyweight, Pac only Koed 4 guys coz he fights only 4 rounders and he's only 16-17 years old. When PBF was that age Floyd was losing in the Amateurs.

When Pac lost his crown at 112, he moved up at the healthier weight of 122 anf started the string of KOes.

Pac's almost 95% KO rate at 122 even without Roach. At 126-130 Pac fights the Greatest fighters with Chins of that weight classes. But still Pac KO rate still above 60%. Pac at Welter was more powerful but has the same speed. Only the chinny hatton was the one he Ko cold. The rest by Submission.

pac's a clean athlete. Floyd's just making excuses!! And his fans buying it coz He's becoming an embarassment to the boxing community!!
