I think Khan would have won if he fought JMM.. but not by KO..

          I think Khan stops Marquez..

          Marquez is old
          Khan has speed
Marquez got knocked about by a feather fisted Diaz at a lower weight..
Marquez is not comfortable at 135 let alone 140
          Khan is big for 140

Are you trying to infer that Amir Khan is a harder puncher than Manny Pacquiao based on these principles of physics? Also, having speed does not result in having a large component of acceleration: a car can be fast at 120 mph but can lack the component of acceleration if it takes 3 minutes to get to that speed. It is this acceleration component on which the property of force is so dependent on. Also, we cannot say that speed equates to power because then we must conclude that fighters like Paulie Malignaggi or Floyd Mayweather are hard hitters; however, this is not the case as they are not known for their devastating punching power. I am not sure what characteristics we can associate with punching power but I am interested if anyone else can provide feedback...I was thinking maybe considering the concepts of power, momentum, or impulse...I also think it's hard to apply physics properties to human bodies as there is no uniform distribution with respect to the body itself, hah. Lets not forget that a punch represents a collective effort between the entire body; all parts are important: from the legs, to the back, to the fist itself.

Amir beats JMM hands down. Thats why JMM and his trainer pulled out of the fight. At 140 JMM loses to all the world champions (Bradley, Alexander and Khan).
